Accidents during transport can occur, and when they do, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

If your shipment arrives damaged or goes missing, simply complete the claim form at the bottom of this page.


While claims are officially handled between the carrier and the shipper, we aim to streamline the process and make it as clear and efficient as possible for all parties involved.

Please provide us with as many of the mentioned documents as possible. This will make it easier for us to help you in the process.

Please note that a signed POD/CMR and the invoice are required to start a claim.

Note that all our claims are filed under the Libertas LLP nv general conditions and that Libertas LLP nv is, for All business transactions, acting as freight forwarder.

All orders are also carried out on the basis of the “Belgian Freight Forwarder’s Standard Trading Conditions” as filed by Forward Belgium of which you have received a copy with our booking confirmation or in every email signature.Please be assured that all claims submitted will undergo a thorough investigation process.


It is important to note that the filing of a claim does not automatically entitle the claimant to any specific amount or compensation. Each claim will be carefully reviewed and evaluated based on its merits, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
